Back in 2004, co-authors Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo created a movement on the dating scene that liberated women from men who were never going to give them what they want when their best selling book, He's Just Not That Into You hit book stores. The book was so popular that five years later it was turned into a Hollywood blockbuster movie.
The book has a solid lesson for daters. As business is just like dating, the advice can easily be applied to your business.

Getting clear on your priorities in your coaching business really matters.
Clarity is SO powerful. It can mean the difference between gaining big momentum and staying stagnant.

The sales call, also known as a discovery call, is a very important skill to master to ensure that your coaching business is a success. If you find that you get anxious about having them or perhaps you don't even know how to do them well, you are not alone. Many coaches have a huge fear of them and would prefer to not do them at all.
From what I have experienced in my own business and with clients, this is only temporary. You can learn to love sales calls (yes, L-o-v-e them!) and see them as a natural, fun part of your business once you learn how to do them really well.

Facebook groups are hot right now. Many people are using them to establish themselves as authorities and to grow their tribes. And for good reason... because they work!
Back in June 2015, I opened up my own private Facebook group for coaches and healers called Live Your Awesomeness. Just before the 2 year anniversary however, I closed it even with just over 800 awesome and active members.
I was asked by many why I chose to close to the group, especially as they are so popular right now and because mine was working for me. In this week's vlog I reveal my answer as well as why doing what everyone else is doing doesn't always mean it's the right thing for you.
