This morning I was suppose to write my incredible community about the Marketing Calendar 2-Week Intensive Masterclass that starts on Monday. Then, I found out about Paris. I had to take it all in because even though, I personally do not know anyone affected, we are all connected. When we see mass attacks like we are reminded of our fragile nature.
At the same time, when things like this happen, I begin to think about our power. At this point in my life, I have been blessed to walk the streets of 27 incredible countries on this planet. What I've noticed in my travels is something really interesting. Our TV screens would like to prove that our world is unsafe, full of violence, hate and terror. Yet, what I have seen with my own two eyes is the opposite. I've seen a world filled with love, patience, kindness towards strangers, curiosity, fun, surprise and beauty.
Even in the midst of getting quasi arrested in a foreign country where I didn't speak the language, I found those things.
Yes, you read that right...

6 years ago I cashed out all of my RRSP’s. Here's why:
While in MBA school back in 2007 I received a mentor through the mentorship program. I had no idea that this one woman was going to change the course of my life (in many ways).
She encouraged me to go to an event called, ‘The Power Within’. It was a little over $120, which at the time seemed like a lot because I was a student, but I decided to take the chance and go anyways. That day there were 6 speakers and I was most excited about the last one because I had heard of him and something in my gut told me that he had a message for me.
Then, it happened...

On this morning's 5 Minute Monday Motivator live on Periscope I gave everyone a challenge to join an experiment for the week. This experiment is for you to do something a little differently than normal so that you can get what you want faster (aka make more money in your business).
Follow me on Periscope: @jennifertrask
Click through to catch the scope from this morning (I took out the first couple of minutes of chat time). :)

As I opened my eyes, I saw the sun beaming in on the wooden panels that would be my new home for the next month or so. I put my feet to the floor, looked out the window and smiled as I saw the smoke curling from my new neighbour, the towering active volcano, Vallirrica.
After 5 weeks in the busy metropolis of Santiago, I was now in the small town of Pucón, Chile. As the adventure capital of Chile, Pucón has a lot to offer a tourist. Upon my first day I ventured out to discover my new home. After discovering the local lake, shops and taking in the breathtaking view, I went back to my room to set up. With my laptop on my lap, tripod and iPhone, I was ready to meet with my clients.
You see, I am a digital nomad, which means that I can work from anywhere in the world (as long as I have good wifi). Over the next two weeks I proceeded to work and on my off time be a great tourist. I hiked mountains, biked the area, kayaked on the lake, broke bread with locals and foreigners and generally enjoyed my time there.
About two weeks in I started to feel an uneasiness...

This has come up a lot lately with coaches so I had to write about it. Do you find yourself saying things like;
“I should be making more money by now.”
“I should be blogging more consistently.”
“I should have a bigger email list by now.”
“I should be making as much as (insert your colleague/competition name here).”
“I should be feeling better about my business by now.”
You shouldn’t, shouldn’t you? Or should you?
