When I started my business all I wanted was freedom. Time freedom, financial freedom, location freedom. All of it.
And off I went in pursuit of that.
After a few years I noticed that things didn't go as planned. I wasn't gaining the freedoms that I wanted at the level I thought I would have achieved.
I did have a certain amount of freedom, especially with how I spent my time. But it wasn't producing the results that I had hoped.
Hindsight as they say is 20/20 and the other day I was listening to something that triggered the idea for this video.
You see, what I realized was that my desire for freedom - and acting as though I already had it - was actually keeping it from me.

An interesting thing happened recently on a call with a new client. As a mindset coach and business strategist, my goal is to help clients build businesses that bring them joy.
Because if it isn't fun, what's the point?
To do that you need three ingredients:
1. A strategy that you like executing (I've met SO many entrepreneurs who are marketing their businesses in ways that do not feel good to them);
2. A business model that serves your purpose, allows you to be profitable AND makes you happy;
3. An unstoppable mindset to help you move past the difficult times (and there are A LOT), create healthy boundaries, stay focused on what YOU want and take consistent action from a place of confidence and courage!
When you combine these three ingredients the result is a joyful business that thrives.
As you are going about building your business, it can be easy to one day wake up and go... "Hold on! I'm not having any fun anymore!"
It's usually because one of these three things are off.
In this video I talk about a recent experience with a client that sparked VERY interesting conversation that, if you are feeling even a little frustrated in your business will help you look at what could be going wrong so you can fix it.

Do you ever have those moments where you need to ask for the sale, do a live video or even send an email and a rush of fear stops you?
Should I do it?
What if I wait until tomorrow?
What if they don't like or worse... what if I look horrible on camera?!
These thoughts can easily come up but we must move past them in order to be seen and grow our business!

The other day I was in Starbucks working away and an older gentleman came in, looked at me for longer then a normal quick glance and then asked me, "What are you pushing?"
I said, "Excuse me?"
He responded, "What are you pushing? With your message?"
I didn't get what he was talking about until he pointed to my computer and then I remembered, oh yes, my computer skin!
My computer skin says, Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire! (Don't mind the smushy air pockets, I still haven't figured out how to get rid of them!)
Now understanding what he was refering to I responded, "I'm not pushing anything."
To which he replied quickly, 'It's like your philosophy on life?'
"Yes", I said.
He nodded and went about his business.
I thought about this conversation and the timeliness of it knowing that this blog post was about to come out (thanks universe for the epic timing once again to enrich this powerful lesson).
The thing is, I don't believe in pushing anything. In fact, anytime I have 'pushed' for something, it has totally backfired. It made it too hard, too long and too much.
It was never worth the effort (other than perhaps instilling the lesson to stop pushing?! LOL).
What I have found is when you attract and allow, in life and in business, things are much easier, flow better and move in the direction of where you want to go.
That's why I'm excited about today's video on one thing you can do that is seemingly 'backwards' in sales, but will actually propel you forward faster and help you have incredible clients that you love!
